Birthdays, Crazies, and Simsasters

I think I'm going to do this backwards because really my simsaster was the funniest part. I went and bought myself The Sims 2 when it came out. You all may or may not remember how into the first Sims I was but that really has nothing to do with anything. SO...Sims can now have aspirations...life long goals that you must help them accomplish. The Sims are nice and helpful and flash little wants that will help them obtain that goal. Right...so I make a little Frank and a little Angie. Angie goes down the family aspiration track...seemed easy enough. Well...after popping the third kid out, little sim Angie decides she wants 10 kids, is too old and has a nervous breakdown. She starts dancing around like a monkey and finaly has to see a doctor. So fast forward to their first born child. Nice well dressed young man named Jake. Falls in love with Nina, gets married, she gets pregnant...life is good. Well...it turns out mrs nina is programmed into the love aspiration...so....she wants to make out with lots of sims...have sex with lots of sims...etc etc. I, being a good little sim controller try to help her with that. While Jake is at work she goes upstairs with her old boyfriend. They have a little fun and curl up and go to sleep. Well..Nina is a tad hungry but also exhausted. By the time she gets up for some lunch she is starving. She starts to cook then dies of starvation. Her lil toy wanted none of that so he fled the scene. THEN her dinner catches on fire. The firemen come but since her body is blocking the stove...they cant put it out. Poor little Jake comes home to find his wife dead and his house in ruins...at least he didn catch her cheating :P

Onto my crazies. One of them is about to make me as crazy as she is. She is super anxious and quite possible addicted to some of her meds...and going out of her way to keep them. Also, I kind of have 2 jobs there now. I'm working to lower the rate of no shows for appts. I have these massive list that I compare to each weeks schedules (which at 51 pages are massive in themselves) and then I narrow it down to the people I have to call. On average there is a 20% no show rate. For this week (the first week of calls) it was somewhere between 8-11% not too shabby :) Its not terrible hard, just time consuming, and since I also have that clt taking up a HUGE chunk of my time it can be rough at times.

And as for birthdays...they're not so bad. I got flowers and a balloon from work. A present that made me a bit teary eyed and some new pants. Oh...and books!

Things are going pretty good here. The weather is nice. Work is keeping me very busy. And I've pretty much settled in. There hasnt been too much exciting stuff going on. Or much site seeing kind of stuff now that Frank is in school and I'm at work. But I'm happy.
